Company History

In the mid sixties, realizing there was a need for a local dealer in quality flooring, the DeGols began selling carpet and vinyl flooring at their Gallitzin location. Under David DeGol’s management, DeGol Carpet soon emerged as one of the foremost dealers of carpeting in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.

In 1991 due to its ever increasing business, DeGol carpet moved to a 48,000 sq. ft. location in Duncansville. This move allowed for a wider selection on flooring products and warehouse space. DeGol Carpet is recognized as a major dealer in the flooring industry and has received many manufacturer’s sales awards.
